About the Role:
-
Mastering Interventional Procedures: As an Interventional Radiology Tech, you will play a vital role in various invasive angio and interventional procedures within the Interventional Radiology Suite. You’ll organize surgical scrub and circulation duties to provide comprehensive patient care during and after procedures.

Patient Monitoring and Comfort: You’ll monitor patients in the Interventional Radiology area, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the procedure. Your expertise will be crucial in explaining the procedure to patients and preparing them for the process.

Fluoroscopy and Radiography: You’ll perform specialized radiography and provide fluoroscopic coverage during interventional and angiographic procedures under the physician’s direction.
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Completion of an ANA accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or completion of an accredited Radiology Interventional Program is required.

BLS HCP certification from AHA is required.

RTR (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification is required.

Preferred qualifications include 1 year in diagnostic radiology and 1 year in Interventional Radiology.
